Jon Heyman wrote Thursday that “some New York Yankees people†have discussed simply releasing Mark Teixeira and Alex Rodriguez rather than trying to find trading partners for them, kick-starting the franchise’s rebuilding by allowing some of the franchise’s prospects to get some playing time. Fantasy Impact:
These moves should not have much effect on anyone's fantasy season because if A-Rod or Teixeira are on your team, your probably not close to making the playoffs. Either way, keep both on the waiver wire as they have close to no value.
