Weaver spun six innings of one run baseball, giving up just four hits while striking out five.
Fantasy Impact:
The soft tossing veteran is able to come up with a good start every now and then. He hurled a complete-game shutout on June 19th, but sandwiched in between that showing and this latest one were two starts where he gave up 10 earned runs in in 10 innings. If you have the formula to figure out when he will toss a gem, then feel free to use him, otherwise his 5.27 ERA and 1.44 WHIP are best left alone.
