Jon Moscot allows seven runs in two innings, gets hit in ear by pitch

by Justin Elick | Wed, Jun 1st 9:49am EDT

Moscot had a night to forget on Tuesday night at Coors Field, allowing four home runs among eight hits and seven runs in just two innings of work. He was hit in the ear with a pitch in the third inning as well, and was replaced in the bottom of the inning. This one was about as bad as it gets, and there were a few other balls that had a chance to leave the park as well. Moscot's return made plenty of daily gamers some money, but for all the wrong reasons. The Reds' bullpen didn't fare much better, as the Rockies pummeled them 17-4.

Fantasy Impact:

Moscot is scheduled to start Sunday against Washington, and he is an easy pitcher to avoid at this point. He now owns a 7.13 ERA and 1.70 WHIP, and has walked more batters than he has struck out over 17.2 innings (9/7). He should only be on your radar as a target for opposing batters at this time.
