Shawn Tolleson takes leave to be with ailing father

Shawn Tolleson has been granted a family emergency medical leave to be with his father who is battling lymphoma and colon cancer. (www.mlb.com)

Tolleson, who was removed from the closer role recently, can be away from the Rangers for up to seven days. Jurickson Profar was called up from Triple-A to take his spot on the roster, and also fill in while Roughned Odor serves his suspension.
