Miami Marlins sign Joe Beimel

The Miami Marlins signed veteran lefty reliever Joe Beimel to a minor league contract. He will report to extended spring training for starters. (Joe Frisaro on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
After the disastrous failures of Chris Narveson and Craig Breslow, the Marlins are left without a veteran left handed reliever. Rookie Jarlin Garcia is currently in the pen, but has not yet thrown his first major league pitch. Beimel, if he still has "it", will likely join the Marlins bullpen sometime in June.
