Justin Verlander collects fourth loss, despite quality start

Verlander showed signs of his old self on Friday night, allowing just one run over an eight inning complete game. The lone run came in the sixth inning when Adam Jones took Verlander deep. In total, Verlander struck out eight batters while allowing just four hits.
Fantasy Impact:
After getting shelled by the Indians offense a few starts ago, Verlander has now put back-to-back starts where he hasn't allowed a run. The bad news is that he hasn't been able to collect a win during that span. The good news is that he's striking out players at a higher rate than earlier in the season.
