Shaky outing but Zach McAllister records his fifth hold
by Gavin Tramps | Mon, May 9th 8:06am EDT
RP Zach McAllister allowed two hits and retired just one batter in the seventh inning of Sunday's series finale with the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
Zach McAllister replaced Josh Tomlin, but allowed a single and a double to the first two batters he faced before Francisco Lindor and Yan Gomes teamed up to get Cheslor Cuthbert out at home. McAllister was yanked after just eight pitches and Bryan Shaw extinguished the danger. On the whole, Zach McAllister has been one of the more reliable pitchers in the Indians' bullpen. He has only allowed two runs over 14 appearances (1.59 ERA and 7.70 SO/9). This was his fifth hold on the season and he remains an under-the-radar option for saves should anything happen to Cody Allen.
