RF Marlon Byrd went 2-for-3 with ground-rule double scoring Yan Gomes, which proved to be the decisive run in the 5-4 win over the Royals on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
The 38-year-old had failed to record a hit in his previous 13 plate appearances and this was his first RBI since April 25. The right-hander is slashing .250/.319/.406 and is expected to continue to share playing time in right field with Lonnie Chisenhall.
