Preston Tucker gets the first run on Monday
by James Ignatius Zeankowski | Tue, May 3rd 9:45am EDT
Starting in left field, Preston Tucker went 1-for-4 against the Minnesota Twins on Monday with a home run to right field in the second inning. He also tallied a pair of ground outs and a strikeout. Tucker keeps to a .200 average so far.
Fantasy Impact:
He only ranks somewhere in the 260s overall and is not expected to gain much ground. For those fantasy owners that favor the Astros, you may want to consider Tucker as an outfield replacement in the wake of uncertainty with Carlos Gomez. His OPS doesn't figure to be much higher than around .750, and is only .677 right now, but the sophomore outfielder does provide some left-handed pop that can come in handy.
