Jon Moscot struggles with command vs. Cubs in second start of season
by Justin Elick | Sat, Apr 23rd 1:18am EDT
Moscot pitched five innings against the Cubs on Friday night, allowing four runs (three earned) on three hits. He walked four batters and struck out just two. Anthony Rizzo took him deep in the 4th inning, which was the eventual winning run in the Reds' 8-1 loss.
Fantasy Impact:
As is the case with most of the Reds starters right now, Moscot isn't a player that should be on your fantasy radar at this time. He could potentially see some more starts in the near future while the Reds remain short-handed. However, even if he earns a spot in the rotation, he doesn't possess enough upside to warrant rostering.
