Chris Heston earns a victory in relief

Chris Heston came in to relieve Jake Peavy and he pitched one inning and struck out one batter. He was credited with the victory.
Fantasy Impact:
This isn't great news for those monitoring Heston's value as the long man/sixth starter. It's likely they were just trying to get some work in for Heston to keep him fresh, but if he gets used to ten-pitch outings, it will make it much harder to stretch him out if (and let's be honest, when) Jake Peavy or Matt Cain goes down.
