Adolis Garcia is not in the starting lineup Friday vs the Cardinals. Manager Bruce Bochy said he was getting a "mental break." (kennedi landry on X)

Garcia is hitting just .147 with a .436 OPS in his last 10 games, so he will get a day off to try to get back on track. Sam Haggety will take over in right field.
