Edwin Diaz struck out two batters in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Saturday's win over the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Diaz has settled down on the mound of late, holding opponents scoreless in each of his last three relief appearances. The right-hander continues to flash dominant stuff while leading the back end of the New York bullpen for manager Carlos Mendoza. After today’s game, Diaz now holds a 5.19 ERA and 1.38 WHIP with five saves across nine appearances this season.
