Lucas Giolito (hamstring) will make at least one more rehab start

by Nicholas Rodriguez | Thu, Apr 17th 6:35am EDT

Lucas Giolito will make at least one more rehab appearance following a rough outing on Tuesday with Double-A Portland. He lasted just over two innings, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out four. (MassLive)

Fantasy Impact:

Giolito struggled with command, throwing only 56.7% of his pitches for strikes in the brief outing on Tuesday. Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora said the right-hander was dissatisfied with his performance, citing inconsistency and poor execution despite feeling physically fine. Giolito now has a 4.70 ERA through three rehab starts, with nine strikeouts and seven walks. He'll need to demonstrate better efficiency and command before rejoining Boston's rotation.
