Mariners reliever Matt Brash (elbow) threw a bullpen session Friday and appears ready for a rehab assignment, but his debut with Triple-A Tacoma is being delayed by cold weather at their road location, reports Adam Jude of The Seattle Times and Daniel Kramer of MLB.com. Brash, recovering from Tommy John surgery, is expected to begin his rehab assignment sometime next week instead. (Adam Jude)
Fantasy Impact:
Completing bullpen work signals Brash is ready for a rehab assignment, though weather delayed its start until next week. He remains on track for a late April/early May return. Continue stashing the high-strikeout reliever for potential holds help.
