Mets catcher Francisco Alvarez (hand) will catch a bullpen session and hit in the batting cage Friday as he ramps up baseball activities, manager Carlos Mendoza told SNY.tv. Alvarez is working his way back from surgery to repair a fractured hamate bone in his left hand. (SNY TV)
