Nolan Gorman (hamstring) lands on injured list
by Bruno Mulé | Cardinals Correspondent | Fri, Apr 4th 10:30am EDT
The Cardinals placed infielder Nolan Gorman on the 10-day injured list Friday, retroactive to April 2, due to a right hamstring strain, reports Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat. Gorman presumably suffered the injury Tuesday and had started just two of the team's first five games prior to landing on the IL. (Jeff Jones)
Fantasy Impact:
Gorman is eligible to return April 12, but hamstring strains can linger. His playing time was already inconsistent (2 starts in 5 games) before the injury. Stash him on the IL for his power, but recognize the PT uncertainty upon return.
