Despite the impressive strikeout total, Morton has given up 13 hits and two walks in his 8.1 innings pitched this season. His high BABIP suggests he may be experiencing some bad luck, but with an average exit velocity over 97 mph, you get bad BABIPs. Until he can find consistency, Morton may be best left on the bench in most formats.
