Fantasy Impact:

Hurt is recovering from Tommy John surgery, so this move doesn’t alter his expected timeline. The Dodgers made the switch to open a 40-man roster spot for Esteury Ruiz, who was acquired via trade. Hurt isn’t expected to return until late in the season.
