Mets pitcher Frankie Montas (lat) has begun a throwing program, manager Carlos Mendoza told Tim Healey of Newsday on Wednesday. Montas, who suffered a high-grade right lat strain in mid-February, was cleared to play catch from 60 feet, marking his first throwing activity since the injury. (Tim Healey)
