JT Brubaker (ribs) transferred to 60-day injured list

The Yankees transferred right-hander JT Brubaker (ribs) from the 15-day injured list to the 60-day IL on Monday. Brubaker is recovering from three fractured ribs suffered Feb. 21 and has yet to resume baseball activities. The move, which clears a 40-man roster spot, makes Brubaker ineligible to return until late May. (New York Yankees)

Prior to tonight’s game, the Yankees made the following roster moves:
• Signed RHP Adam Ottavino to a Major League contract and added him to the active roster.
• Transferred RHP JT Brubaker to the 60-day injured list.
• Placed RHP Devin Williams on the paternity list.

Fantasy Impact:

This move confirms Brubaker's lengthy absence as he hasn't resumed baseball activities since fracturing his ribs in February. Eligible in late May at the earliest, he remains off the redraft radar and is only a stash in deep dynasty leagues.
