Jeimer Candelario Drives in Three Despite Reds' Loss to Giants

by Joel E. Ruffin Jr. | Reds Correspondent | Fri, Mar 28th 11:53am EDT

Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-3 in the loss to the Giants with three RBI, one walk, and one strikeout.

Fantasy Impact:

Candelario continued his hot start with a two-hit, three-RBI effort, raising his early batting average to .667. While the power hasn’t shown up yet, his ability to drive in runs and get on base — including a walk in this one — makes him an intriguing option in deeper formats. The multi-position eligibility at 1B, 3B, and DH only adds to his flexibility. If the power catches up, he could carve out consistent value moving forward.
