Vinnie Pasquantino (hamstring) to be re-evaluated Thursday

Royals manager Matt Quatraro told reporters Tuesday that Vinnie Pasquantino (hamstring) will complete a full workout Wednesday and be re-evaluated the following morning, per Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star. (Sam McDowell)
Fantasy Impact:
Pasquantino has been managing a low-grade (Grade 1-plus) strain in his right hamstring, but after some cage work Tuesday, he reportedly responded well. The Royals aren’t ruling out his availability for Opening Day just yet and will wait to make an official call until final roster decisions are made Thursday. If he's cleared, Pasquantino could slot in as the designated hitter to help limit strain on the hamstring. Should he not be ready, expect Mark Canha, Salvador Perez, or Cavan Biggio to share reps at first base in the short term.
