Bobby Miller set to start Triple-A opener Sunday

by Bruno Mulé | Dodgers Correspondent | Wed, Mar 26th 4:45pm EDT

Bobby Miller (concussion) is slated to make his season debut Sunday in Triple-A Oklahoma City's third game of the year against Sugar Land. (Alex Freedman)

Fantasy Impact:

After taking a line drive off the head in his spring debut on Feb. 20 and landing in concussion protocol, Miller was sidelined from Cactus League action but quietly ramped back up behind the scenes. He resumed throwing just days after the incident and gradually built up through simulated outings and minor-league games. While the injury kept him out of contention for an Opening Day spot with the Dodgers, he’s fully stretched out and will open the year in OKC’s rotation. Miller remains one of the top arms in the system and could force his way back to the majors once an opportunity arises.
