Zack Kelly makes Opening Day roster

Zack Kelly has made the Opening Day roster for Boston, per manager Alex Cora. (Ian Browne on Twitter)

Alex Cora said that Zack Kelly and Greg Weissert are on the team. One bullpen spot is open. It would seem to be Criswell or Bernardino. Also, Cora added that Sean Newcomb is likely the fifth starter.

Fantasy Impact:

Kelly turned in a solid spring training, posting a 2.35 ERA and a 0.65 WHIP in seven outings. The 30-year-old should pitch in middle relief for Boston in 2025.
