Joey Cantillo to start the season in the bullpen

The Guardians have informed outfielder Will Brennan and reliever Andrew Walters that they will be optioned to Triple-A Columbus.

Joey Cantillo will be in the 'pen, and the bulk of Nolan Jones' ABs are expected to be in right field vs. RHP.

Fantasy Impact:

Cantillo will remain on the roster after losing the competition for the last spot in the starting rotation. He could be an option for a spot start or a fill-in for an injury later in the season.
