Matt Strahm not pitching Monday due to fingernail issue

by Nicholas Rodriguez | Phillies Correspondent | Mon, Mar 24th 2:13pm EDT

Matt Strahm was scheduled to pitch Monday against the Tampa Bay Rays but has been scratched due to irritation in his left middle fingernail. (Todd Zolecki on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

Strahm had previously dealt with a shoulder impingement earlier in the spring and is now dealing with a minor fingernail issue. However, it's not considered serious, and he has been throwing without shoulder discomfort. He should still be on track for the Philadelphia Phillies' season opener against the Washington Nationals.
