The Cardinals sent Michael McGreevy to Triple-A Memphis on Sunday, per team updates, despite a stellar spring performance in the rotation race. (St. Louis Cardinals)

We have optioned INF José Fermín and RHP Michael McGreevy to Memphis (AAA). Non-roster INF José Barrero has been re-assigned to the Memphis roster.

LHP Zack Thompson will be placed on the Injured List effective March 24.
