The Rays sent Cole Sulser to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, per team updates, part of eight roster cuts from big-league camp this week. (Rays Communications)

The Tampa Bay Rays have optioned C Logan Driscoll, OF Jake Mangum, OF Kameron Misner, RHP Cole Sulser and RHP Jacob Waguespack to Triple-A Durham. Additionally, C Kenny Piper, OF Chandler Simpson and INF Carson Williams have been reassigned to minor league camp.

Sulser’s 2.76 ERA and 1.10 WHIP over 16.1 innings across 10 MLB games in 2024 with the Mets and Rays couldn’t keep him off Durham’s roster Wednesday. The 34-year-old’s arm stays sharp.
