The Rays sent Kameron Misner to Triple-A Durham on Wednesday, per team updates, joining Jake Mangum and Chandler Simpson as outfield hopefuls cut from camp. (Rays Communications)

The Tampa Bay Rays have optioned C Logan Driscoll, OF Jake Mangum, OF Kameron Misner, RHP Cole Sulser and RHP Jacob Waguespack to Triple-A Durham. Additionally, C Kenny Piper, OF Chandler Simpson and INF Carson Williams have been reassigned to minor league camp.

Fantasy Impact:

Misner’s 8-game 2024 stint with Tampa Bay aside, his .248/.360/.442 line, 17 homers, and 30 steals over 519 plate appearances at Durham couldn’t nab a Rays backup outfield spot Wednesday. His upside persists. Fantasy managers in deep dynasty leagues should stash him, banking on his power-speed combo for a midseason call-up if Tampa Bay needs outfield depth in 2025.
