The Red Sox sent Vaughn Grissom to Triple-A Worcester on Wednesday, per team updates, trailing Kristian Campbell and David Hamilton in the second base race. (Chris Cotillo)

The Red Sox haven’t announced roster moves for some reason but informed a bunch of players they’re being optioned.

Fantasy Impact:

Grissom’s .176 average and .535 OPS in 13 spring games drop him behind Campbell and Hamilton for the Red Sox’s second base job, landing him in Worcester Wednesday. The 24-year-old’s bid fades. Fantasy managers in deep dynasty leagues should stash him, expecting his bat to rebound for a midseason call-up if Boston needs infield help in 2025.
