Ryan Helsley recently stated he has not had any conversations with the Cardinals about a contract extension, per Katie Woo of The Athletic.
Fantasy Impact:
Helsley is set to become a free agent after the 2025 season and expressed openness to a long-term deal, but no discussions have taken place. With Chaim Bloom set to take over as president of baseball operations after the season and the team avoiding payroll additions for now, an extension isn’t a priority. Helsley will earn $8.2 million in 2025 and could be a prime trade candidate at the deadline.
