Sean Reynolds sidelined with stress reaction in right foot

by Bruno Mulé | Padres Correspondent | Sun, Feb 23rd 12:14pm EST

Reynolds is in a walking boot due to a stress reaction in his right foot and is expected to remain in it for at least 10 more days, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Fantasy Impact:

The right-hander made his MLB debut last summer and impressed with a 0.82 ERA, 1.36 WHIP, and 21:5 K:BB over 11 innings. However, this injury could derail his chances of making the Padres' Opening Day roster. Even if Reynolds begins the season at Triple-A El Paso, his strong showing in 2024 suggests he could earn a call-up at some point in 2025.
