Willson Contreras to start at 1B Saturday

#STLCards manager Oliver Marmol said he purposefully split up Willson Contreras and Alec Burleson so that one can start at 1B each day. Contreras starts today vs. the #Marlins, while Burleson will likely start tomorrow vs. the #Astros.

They will split time at 1B and DH in 2025.

Fantasy Impact:

Contreras was moved to first base and designated hitter this season. Cardinals manager Oli Marmol said Contreras and Alec Burleson will split time at 1B and DH during the season.
