The Reds dropped to 63-96 for the season following a 5-3 loss to the Cubs on Thursday. Jason Bourgeois had a sold game for the Reds, going 2-for-5 with a double, RBI and run scored. He raised his batting average to .245 for the season.

Bourgeois has not excelled in any offensive category, posting an on-base percentage of .298 and slugging percentage of .340. He also has only three stolen bases.
