The Red Sox traded Braden Montgomery to the White Sox in the package that sent Garrett Crochet to Boston. (Ken Rosenthal on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Montgomery was the No. 5 prospect in the Red Sox farm system. He went No. 12 overall in the 2024 MLB Draft after playing college baseball at Stanford and Texas A&M. Montgomery should enter the White Sox organization as one of their top prospects.
