Bruce Rondon sent home for remainder of season

Tigers' reporter James Schmehl is reporting that manager Brad Ausmus has sent closer Bruce Rondon home for the rest of the season due to "effort level." Schmehl also reports that Rondon's locker is empty. (James Schmehl on Twitter)

Well, that explains Rondon's diminished velocity on Monday. Rondon is clearly droppable in all formats. Expect Alex Wilson or Neftali Feliz to close for the Tigers going forward.
