JP Sears struggles against Yankees

JP Sears endured a tough outing, allowing six earned runs on nine hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings in Saturday's 10-0 loss to the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
This performance certainly didn't help his already middling season stats, pushing his ERA up to 4.43. His WHIP, which is decent at 1.23, also took a hit. Given his FIP of 4.70 and a K/9 of just 6.9, Sears's ability to be a consistent fantasy contributor remains questionable. Fantasy managers should be wary of relying on him in crucial matchups, as his season-long inconsistency and vulnerability in high-pressure games continue to be apparent.
