Nick Fortes went 1-for-4 with a home run and an RBI in the Marlins' 20-4 defeat to the Dodgers.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the lopsided score, Fortes managed to contribute with his fourth homer of the season, though it did little to rally his team. His performance this season has been underwhelming with a .231 batting average and a modest .256 wOBA over 104 games. Fantasy managers should view Fortes as a low-end option, primarily in deeper leagues or two-catcher formats, as his power numbers and on-base skills don't quite make up for the batting average liability.
