Mitch Keller allowed three earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out six over six innings in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Royals.
Fantasy Impact:
This performance slightly tarnishes what has been a solid season for Keller, who now holds a 3.87 ERA and a 1.25 WHIP through 29 starts. His ability to maintain a decent strikeout rate (8.4 K/9) and a reasonable strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.70) continues to make him a viable option in most fantasy formats. However, his inconsistency in run prevention, as evidenced by a 4.02 FIP, suggests that fantasy managers should temper expectations and consider matchups carefully when deploying him in their lineups.
