Luis Robert Jr. has quiet night at the plate
by Chris Schommer | White Sox Correspondent | Sat, Sep 14th 9:23am EDT
Luis Robert Jr. went 1-for-4 in the White Sox's 2-0 loss to the Athletics.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite managing a single hit, Robert Jr. failed to make a significant impact, contributing no RBIs, runs, or extra-base hits. This performance is symptomatic of his struggles this season, as evidenced by a mere .221 batting average and high strikeout rate. His power numbers are decent with 14 homers, but his inability to consistently get on base (.283 wOBA) is a concern for fantasy managers. Given his current form and the lack of production in key categories, Robert Jr. remains a risky play in all but the deepest of fantasy leagues.
