Davis Martin struggled mightily in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Guardians, allowing five earned runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four over three innings.
Fantasy Impact:
This outing ballooned his ERA to 4.14 and his WHIP edged up slightly, reflecting a season that has been challenging for the right-hander. With an increase in his ERA and continued lack of wins (still winless in nine starts), Martin's fantasy value is shaky at best. His strikeout rate remains decent, but his inability to limit runs or pitch deep into games severely limits his appeal in all but the deepest of fantasy leagues.
