The Phillies have selected the contract of Aramis Garcia from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. (Phillies on Twitter)

The Phillies announced the following roster moves today:

- Right-handed pitcher Jose Cuas was claimed off waivers from the Toronto Blue Jays and optioned to triple-A Lehigh Valley

- Right-handed pitcher Nick Nelson was designated for assignment

Fantasy Impact:

Garcia will join the roster to provide depth behind the plate after J.T. Realmuto suffered a knee injury Friday. Garrett Stubbs will likely see the bulk of the starts until Realmuto is healthy enough to return.
