Frankie Montas strikes out 10, but Brewers fall short

Frankie Montas delivered a mixed performance in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Rockies, allowing three earned runs on just two hits and three walks while striking out 10 over six innings.
Fantasy Impact:
Despite the high strikeout total, Montas's inability to avoid the big inning ultimately cost him and the Brewers the game. His season-long issues with a 4.69 ERA and 1.37 WHIP continue to be a concern for fantasy managers. While the high strikeout rate (8.2 K/9) remains appealing, his inconsistent results and elevated ERA and WHIP make him a risky play in all but the deepest of fantasy leagues.
