We have activated LHP Joey Wentz who was claimed off waivers in Tuesday from Detroit. To make room on the 28-man roster RHP Domingo Germán has been designated for assignment.

German struggled in his start Wednesday, allowing six earned runs in just three innings. He will hit the waiver wire and be replaced on the roster by Joey Wentz.
