Stroman Stumbles Against Rangers

Marcus Stroman had a rough outing, allowing five earned runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out three over 3.2 innings in Wednesday's 10-6 loss to the Rangers.
Fantasy Impact:
This performance certainly didn't help his already middling season stats, which include a 4.03 ERA and a 1.42 WHIP. His inability to go deep into games, coupled with a low strikeout rate of 6.6 K/9, continues to limit his fantasy upside. Given his performance trends and a FIP of 4.81 suggesting he might be performing as expected, fantasy managers should temper expectations. Stroman remains a risky play in all but the deepest of leagues.
