The Twins have optioned Diego Castillo to Triple-A St. Paul. (Twins on Twitter )
Fantasy Impact:
Castillo will head to the minor leagues to make room for Wednesday’s bulk pitcher Louie Varland. The 30-year-old appeared in six games with the Twins this season, posting a 2.25 ERA and a 1.50 WHIP over eight innings.
