The Phillies have selected the contract of Nick Nelson from Triple-A Lehigh Valley. (Phillies on Twitter )

Nelson has pitched well out of the bullpen in Triple-A and will get another chance to provide depth on the Phillies’ roster.the 28-year-old had a 5.40 ERA and a 1.80 WHIP in three previous appearances this season.
