Ryan Helsley Falters But Cardinals Prevail

by Emily Maingi | Cardinals Correspondent | Wed, Sep 4th 11:04am EDT

Ryan Helsley allowed one hit and struck out four over two innings, but he blew his fifth save of the season in the Cardinals' 7-4 victory over the Brewers.

Fantasy Impact:

Despite the hiccup with the blown save, Helsley's overall performance was solid, maintaining his strong strikeout rate and keeping his ERA low. However, fantasy managers might be slightly concerned about his tendency to blow saves, now totaling five on the season. His ability to rack up strikeouts and generally keep runs off the board still makes him a valuable asset in most fantasy formats, but the increase in blown saves could be a point of caution for those relying on him for consistent save opportunities.
