Justin Steele underwent an elbow MRI, revealing no structural damage. He expects to pitch again this season. (Taylor McGregor on X)

Steele described the results as "good news", as it looks only to be some inflammation in his elbow. It's unclear how long he will be out for, but with the Cubs vying for a playoff spot it's likely that they will do everything they can to get him back on the mound in 2024.
